More than 62% of families in Minsk have one child

In Minsk, more than 62% of families have only one child, although they have the potential to give birth to a second and third, the Minsk-News agency writes.

In Minsk, only 1% of men go on leave to care for a child up to three years old. Since 2021, Belarus has been paying more attention to this issue. It is planned to celebrate Father's Day more widely in order to form conscious fatherhood. Also in 2021, the first forum of fathers in Belarus was held.
