More tourists visited Belarus in 2022
About 1.163 million foreigners visited Belarus in 10 months of 2022, which is 22% more than last year. At the same time, tourists arriving through the Belarusian-Russian land border are not taken into account, Minsk-News writes.
Approx. 393 thousand tourists came from Russia. There were 315 thousand tourists from Lithuania, that is seven times more than in 2021. The tourist flow from Poland remained at the level of 2021.
During this period, tourist services brought the country $147.5 million. This is 30% more than in the same period last year.
Russians, citizens of Turkey, Latvia and China spent the most money in Belarus.
