MTS expands 4G coverage of Minsk Region

MTS is increasing the 4G network in the Minsk region. A new LTE-800 band will be launched in more than 140 localities in the region, belta.by reports.

High-speed Internet will be available in the suburbs of district centers, along highways and in rural areas, including remote villages.

As the technological readiness of the infrastructure operator beCloud is ensured, on May 20, the 4G network will be launched in the settlements of Slutsk, Stolbtsovsky, Kletsky, Dzerzhinsky, Molodechno, Vileysky, Myadelsky, Pukhovichsky, Borisovsky, Nesvizh, Kletsky, Starodorozhsky, Logoysky and other districts of the Minsk region.

The LTE-800 range has a large range and allows you to cover a larger area with fewer base stations.

It is planned to expand the 4G network from MTS in all regions of the country by 2023.
