National Bank postponed the launch of the swift payment system

The National Bank postponed the launch of a system of swift payments for individuals for several months. The state has decided to give banks additional time to finalize mobile applications, Sputnik reported.

According to the plan, all banks in Belarus were required to connect to the swift payment system from April 1. The deadline was postponed to January 1, 2024.

In some banks, the system will start working earlier, around April 4. The remaining banks will finalize their applications until January 1.

The National Bank reduces the refinancing rate from April 3.
