National Bank will set Belarusian ruble exchange rates in a new way
The National Bank of Belarus has made some changes to the procedure for setting the exchange rates of the Belarusian ruble against foreign currencies, BELTA writes. The main approaches to the installation of courses remain the same, and the changes are technical.
Among the changes is the simplification of changes by the National Bank in the frequency of setting the official exchange rates of the Belarusian ruble against certain foreign currencies. This will help to respond more quickly to changes in the needs of the population.
There are also rules for determining the list of foreign currencies against which the official exchange rates of the Belarusian ruble are set according to trading data on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange.
In addition, the list of sources of information on the cross-rates of foreign currencies to the US dollar, which are used to establish the official exchange rates of the Belarusian ruble to these foreign currencies, has been expanded.
Belarusbank has recently increased the fee for money transfers from abroad to 15%.
