Neutron reactor for NPP safety to be built in Belarus

Belarusian scientists are developing a test reactor project that will increase the safety of nuclear power plants, Minsk-News reported.

The Chairman of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences said that scientists are ready to sign an agreement with the Kurchatov Institute to conduct fundamental research in the field of nuclear energy.

The plans also include the construction of a research reactor to ensure the safety of the Belarusian NPP. Such reactor is already operating in Gatchina (Russia). It is used in the study of neutrons, their radiation and objects of the microcosm.

Robots for milking cows will work on Belarusian farms by 2025.
