New about COVID-19 in Belarus

As of February 28, 919,736 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in Belarus since the beginning of the pandemic. From February 28 to March 1, 2,268 people fell ill, the Minsk-News agency writes. Some hospitals in the Minsk are returning to work in specialized areas.

A total of 908,132 people have recovered in Belarus. From February 28 to March 1, 393 people recovered. During the entire period of infection in Belarus, 6,480 patients with COVID-19 have died. And 12,438,809 Covid tests were taken in Belarus. From February 28 to March 1, 11,039 tests were taken.

In Belarus, more than 5.044 million have been fully vaccinated against coronavirus. More than 59.4 thousand adolescents aged 12-17 years were vaccinated with one dose, of which more than 32.3 thousand underwent a full course of vaccination. About 60.5% of the total population of the country were vaccinated with one dose of the vaccine, 54% of the population were vaccinated with two components.

Since March 1, 2022, some healthcare institutions in Minsk have returned to work on the profile.
