New base value in Belarus from January 1, 2021

Since January 1, 2022, the base value is no longer 29 byn, but 32 byn, the Minsk-News agency reports.

The change in the base value led to changes in payments depending on it: a fee for the implementation of handicraft activities, state duty and administrative fines.

The amount of fines for traffic violations has also changed. For example, for driving without a seat belt, the fine will be up to 32 byn. The same amount will cost a stop or parking with a violation. If the driver exceeds the set speed by 10-20 km/h, the fine will be up to 32 byn.
