New data on COVID in Belarus

In Belarus, the incidence of COVID-19 is now hovering at 3% of peak values, BELTA writes, according to the Minister of Health.

The patients are mostly elderly and unvaccinated people. The mask regime in Belarus has been canceled. Vaccination is also continuing. At the moment, at least one component of the vaccine has been received by about 70% of Belarusians.

A full cycle of production of the entire spectrum of Sputnik vaccines is taking place in Belarus. The production is built on a platform that allows upgrading the vaccine to new strains. 

The situation with the disease has declined, so the topic has left the list of the main issues of the Ministry of Health. According to the Minister, covid will become a seasonal disease, that is, it will be relevant in autumn and spring.

Also, by September 1, 2023, about 10 disinfection stations will appear on the border of Belarus.
