New detailed rules of entry to Thailand

From May 1, new rules for entry into Thailand come into force, the Sobiray Rukzak Telegram channel writes. Now passengers are exempt from all tests with a vaccination certificate, and unvaccinated tourists do not need quarantine. Read in our article that Sri Lanka has also lifted the quarantine for tourists.

New rules of entry to Thailand:

  • passengers with a vaccination certificate are exempt from all tests (Sputnik V and Sinopharm are suitable);
  • unvaccinated tourists are released from quarantine provided they have a negative PCR test no older than 72 hours before departure, uploaded to the Thailand Pass system;
  • travelers without sanitary documents are sent to a mandatory 5-day quarantine at a pre-paid AQ Hotel;
  • unvaccinated children under 12 years of age can enter only with their parents, vaccinated — independently;
  • unvaccinated children from 12 to 17 years old can enter only with their parents, vaccinated with at least the 1st dose can enter independently.
