New projects for which Belarus will spend 1.5 billion US dollars
Russia recently allocated 1.5 billion US dollars to Belarus to organize the production of import-substituting products. The Prime Minister told what projects the money will be used for, BelTA reported.
Belarus has offered the Russian side more than a dozen import-substituting projects for the production of microelectronics and mechanical engineering. Now there is a procedure for verifying business plans. So far, only two projects have been approved.
Approximately $1.2 billion will be spent on the implementation of civil projects. About $200 million will be allocated to military projects.
Let us remind you that Russia wants to build a sea terminal for Belarus.
