New recommendations of the Ministry of Health for Covid

Ministry of Health of Belarus made temporary changes to the recommendations for patients with COVID-19, the agency Minsk-News writes.

In the case of a positive test result for the coronavirus antigen in a patient, a study for the presence of the virus is performed for all cohabiting people with symptoms. If the test result is negative, a smear is taken for PCR in the presence of symptoms.

Patients with COVID-19 are subject to medical supervision at home using means of communication until the disappearance of clinical symptoms of infection. But no more than 21 days from the date of the appearance of symptoms of the virus. Patients without symptoms remain in self-isolation for up to 7 days.

Patients without risk factors for severe course of the disease remain in isolation for up to 10 days. Patients with risk factors are monitored daily and remain in isolation for up to 21 days.
