New rules for entering Schengen and EU zones
In the near future, two new automatic entry and exit Schengen and EU zones programs will work, "Sobiray Rukzak" writes:
From May 2023, all travelers who do not need a visa to enter Europe will have to register in the ETIAS system. It will record digitized fingerprints and facial images of all passengers, as well as collect this data at departure at all Schengen air and sea ports, airports and land border points with subsequent transfer to the relevant state authorities.
The EES system will start operating at the end of September 2022. The system will be used to check in passengers from third countries every time they cross the external border of the EU. EES will also record entry refusals, more effectively identify persons who have overstayed their stay, as well as cases of document fraud. Data on violations will be transmitted to the border authorities in real time.
We remind you that on our website there is a list of countries that have opened borders for tourists without vaccination.
