New rules for getting visa at German Embassy in Minsk

On Wednesday, December 14, a new system of registration for Schengen visas at the German Embassy in Minsk was launched, "Sobiray Rukzak" reported.

Now users register on the waiting list, and then the embassy itself assigns the time of submission of documents in chronological order, taking into account the available places.

The complete process of making an entry for a visa consists of three stages:

  1. registration in the new booking system;
  2. receiving a confirmation email;
  3. receiving an email with the date and time of recording (due to high demand, the time interval before receiving the recording date may take up to 4 weeks).

Thus, it is no longer necessary to track free spaces and wait for a record for several months.

The new rules only apply to the process of signing up for Schengen visas. The process of issuing a national German visa has not changed.

Let us remind you that from December 31 to January 1, buses from Minsk to Riga, Vilnius, Warsaw and Kaunas were canceled.
