New specialties will appear in BSU

BSU opens new specialties: "bioengineering and bioinformatics" will appear at the Faculty of Biology, "geotechnologies of tourism and excursion activities" at the geographical faculty, belta.by reports.

Graduates of the new specialty at the Faculty of Biology will have the qualification "bioengineer-bioinformatician". Recruitment will be carried out at the I and II stages of higher education for budget and paid forms of education.

This specialty is interdisciplinary and includes the study of genetic and cellular engineering, bioinformatics, molecular biology, biochemistry, physiology and structural biology, pharmacology, virology, biomechanics, organic and inorganic chemistry, thermodynamics, neural networks, deep data analysis, phenomics, molecular evolution and other disciplines.

Recruitment for the specialty "geotechnologies of tourism and excursion activities" will take place at the first stage of higher education for budget and paid forms of education. Graduates will have the qualification "Geographer. Specialist in geotechnologies of tourism and sightseeing activities".
