Three new stations of the Zelenoluzhskaya line

Three new stations of the Zelenoluzhskaya line

Today, on December 30, Minsk opens three new metro stations: Aerodromnaya, Nemorshansky Sad and Slutsky Gostinets, Onliner informs.

These stations will improve transport links, especially for the Minsk-Mir area. Construction began in 2018, but due to the complexity of the underground work, the deadlines were repeatedly postponed.

At the opening ceremony, President Alexander Lukashenko stressed the importance of speeding up the construction of the metro and suggested thinking about developing a surface subway to connect with satellite cities.

The Zelenoluzhskaya line will continue to expand: there are plans to open 14 stations with a total length of 17 kilometers.
