New year's eve festivities will be held on October square.

A large-scale holiday in Minsk for the first time in many years will be held not near the sports Palace, but on October square. The concert will start at 23.30 and end at 4.00 on January 1. Popular Belarusian artists and DJs will perform on the stage. This was reported by the Deputy head of the Department of culture of the Minsk city Executive Committee Alexander Shestakov.

Fireworks for 11 minutes will be arranged near the sports Palace at 1.30. Pyrotechnic and laser show will be accompanied by a musical soundtrack, reports tut.by.

In total, the city will organize 24 sites for mass celebrations, the events will end at 3-4 o'clock in the morning.

We will remind, before the celebration of the New year (December 28) a parade of Santas and snow Maidens will be held in Minsk.
