Night of Museums in Minsk

The Museum of Earth Science and the Zoological Museum of BSU actively participate in the "Night of Museums", informs Belarus Today.

The campaign is scheduled for the period from May 18 to May 20. This year it will be dedicated to the role of museums in education and research, and their important contribution to the dissemination of natural science knowledge and the preservation of the cultural heritage of Belarus. The Museum of Earth Science will offer visitors a diverse three-day program, including sightseeing tours, trainings on mineral diagnostics, master classes from experienced craftsmen, and lectures on stone processing techniques.

Throughout the event, there will also be an exhibition and sale of souvenirs and stone products presented by Belarusian collectors and geologists.

It is expected that those wishing to get acquainted with the museum's collections will be able to use an audio guide, and foreign guests will be able to use an excursion "assistant" provided in English and Chinese.
