Norway approves new name of Belarus
Norwegian Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeld announced the change of the name of Belarus, CityDog.io writes. We remind you that Norway is on the list of countries that have abolished all covid restrictions.
Since May 29, the name "Belarus" will be used in official documents and sources of Norway. Previously, the official name was "Hviterussland", which translates from Norwegian as "White Russia".
In Sweden, the name "Belarus" has been approved since 2019, in Denmark — since 2021.
