Nuclear fuel was loaded into the reactor of the second power unit of the Belarusian NPP

Nuclear fuel has been successfully loaded into the reactor core of the second power unit of the Belarusian NPP, minsknews.by reports.

All 163 fuel assemblies are placed in the core. The total mass of nuclear fuel is 571 kg.

Next, work will be carried out on the assembly and sealing of the reactor with the necessary hydraulic tests. Then the reactor plant will be transferred to the "hot state" and brought to a minimally controlled power level. All these works relate to the stage of physical start-up of the reactor.
