Number of hazardous industries workers is decreasing in Belarus

The number of people working in harmful and dangerous conditions in Belarus decreased by 20% from 2016 to 2022. The Minister of Labor and Social Protection announced this data on the Belarus 1 TV channel, the Minsk-News agency reports.

Currently 746 thousand people work in harmful and dangerous conditions across the country. This is 17% of the total number of employed people.

Due to the reduction in the number of workers in hazardous industries, the number of injuries and deaths is also getting lower. In 10 years, injuries have decreased by more than 30%.
