Number of IT specialists with a salary of BYN 10,000+ is increasing

According to official statistics, almost 10 thousand Belarusians receive a salary of more than BYN 10,000. About 80% of them are IT specialists. Over the past 12 months, the number of specialists with such a salary has increased by 20%, devby.io writes.

We remind you that in June the average salary before taxes in Minsk was BYN 2,264. Check out salaries in other cities.

The number of specialists in the field of IT and communications with the smallest salary (up to BYN 1,000) decreased by 30% over the year. Most of the specialists receive BYN 1-2,000, but over the year, they have become less by 6.5%

The number of specialists with BYN 2-3,000 salaries increased by 25%. Also, the number of IT specialists with a salary of BYN 7-10,000 increased by 2%.

More than 8 thousand specialists already receive a salary BYN 10,000+. This is 10.4% of all employees in the field of IT and communications. Over the year, they have increased by 22%. Almost 90% of them work in Minsk.
