Numbers: how IT specialists study in Belarus

Today, about 20 Belarusian universities train IT specialists. More than 50.6 thousand students receive IT diplomas every year, Minsk-News writes. IT is also the most popular field among applicants who enter Belarusian universities.

However, the market of IT specialists in Belarus is not yet full. It is necessary to teach additional 5-6 thousand specialists per year. At the same time, the specialties should be narrowly focused: an engineer or technologist with competencies in the field of IT, the Minister of Education said.
