Oil wells to be drilled with Chinese equipment in Belarus

Belorusneft will drill its wells using systems and equipment from China, Sputnik reported. Let us remind you that Belarus and China have signed a large package of agreements and continue to cooperate.

Telemetry systems from China are not inferior to Western analogues in terms of technical and qualitative indicators, while they are much cheaper, representatives of Belorusneft said.

The company is already negotiating with Chinese suppliers on the supply of a new generation of drilling equipment. For the first time, Chinese technologies will be applied at the Rechitsky field. If the equipment passes the tests, it will help to reduce the cost of the process of wiring horizontal wells.
