Olympic Council of Asia invites Belarus to participate in Asian Games 2023

The Olympic Council of Asia has invited Belarus to participate in the Asian Games 2023, Sputnik reported.

The Games will be held in Hangzhou, China from September 23 to October 8, 2023. The competition program will feature 40 sports. For some disciplines, the Games will qualify for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

Also in early December 2022, the International Olympic Committee allowed Belarusian athletes to participate in the 2024 Olympics, but with restrictions.
