The construction of the Minsk Magnet Complex began in 2009 at the intersection of Independence Avenue and Kalinovskaha Street. It was supposed to house a hotel, a business center and a shopping center. It was planned to finish the construction by the end of 2013, but for various reasons the project was never completed.
