OneSoil received $5 million from Western funds

Argostartap OneSoil received $5 million of investments from two venture funds - the international Almaz Capital ($4 million) and the Hungarian Portfolio ($1 million), dev.by reports.

The company will spend this money on expanding and developing the team. The guys want to increase the staff to 60 people (at the moment there are 43 people in the team) by attracting people from different regions. Now the focus is on Europe and South America.

The startup is constantly looking for investment, but the pandemic has brought its own difficulties to this process.

In 2017, OneSoil already received an investment of $500,000 from Haxus, as well as Yuri Melnichek and Leonid Lozner. Later in 2019, the company received a $1.2 million investment from Bulba Ventures and Haxus.

The OneSoil team develops apps and an online platform for field accounting that allow you to monitor the condition of plants, calculate the rates of fertilizers and seeds for sowing. The project was created in 2014 by two friends: Vyacheslav Mazay and Vsevolod Genin.
