Online maps service MAPS.ME is up for sale

The MAPS.ME mobile application, one of the creators of which is the Belarusian IT businessman Yuri Melnichek, was put up for sale for $20 million, Citydog.by reports.

Mail.ru sells MAPS.ME service to Daegu Limited company for $20 million. The mobile application is a server for maps of cities around the world, which can be used both online and offline, if you download the necessary maps to your phone.

The app has over 140 million installations and 10 million monthly active users.

Mail.ru decided to sell the service in order to focus all efforts on developing the company's core assets.
