Open-air Silent Film Festival will take place in Minsk
The eighth KINEMO silent film festival will take place in Minsk from the 30th of July till 27th of August, reports relax.by. The event was organized by the Cinemascope project and the Association of Young Belarusian Composers.
The Silent Film Festival will take place in the open air with live music. The audience will be presented with films that have already become classics of silent cinema, accompanied with the music created by contemporary Belarusian and foreign composers.
In total, four films will be presented during the festival: "The Kid Brother", "Himmelskibet ", "Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari", "Asphalt", as well as 4 short films that have become winners of the KINEMO competition.
All movies will begin at 21.30 in the courtyard of the Memorial Museum of Z.I. Azgur.
The cost of 1 ticket is 13 rubles.
The KINEMO festival is held annually in Belarus with the aim of popularizing silent films among young people.
