Orange danger level was declared in Belarus due to frosts
The orange danger level has been declared in Belarus from Friday, May 5, to Sunday, May 7, Sputnik reported. This decision was made in connection with the expected frosts.
On the night of May 5, frosts are expected in most of the Vitebsk region, as well as in places in the rest of the country. The air temperature will drop to -3 °C. On the night of May 6 and 7, forecasters predict frosts of up to -5 °C in most of the country.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations warned that such a decrease in temperature is fraught with damage and death of agricultural plants.
