Partial solar eclipse can be observed in Minsk

A partial solar eclipse will occur on October 25, and some of its phases can be observed from the territory of Belarus, Minsk-News reported.

In Minsk, the eclipse will begin on October 25 at about 12:17 PM. Within an hour, the moon will cover 60% of the sun.

Looking at the Sun with the naked eye or through conventional optical devices is very dangerous, because even with an eclipse, sunlight can cause irreversible eye damage. Optics with protective filters should be used for observation.
