Pavel Glinchuk Wins World Championship Bronze in Croatia

Belarusian Greco-Roman wrestler Pavel Glinchuk claimed bronze in the 130 kg category at the World Championships in Croatia, Belarus Today reports.

In the decisive match for third place, he confidently defeated Ukraine’s Mykola Kuchmii 9:1.

On his way to the podium, Glinchuk overcame opponents from Georgia, Armenia, and Turkey, before narrowly losing to Hungary’s Darius Vitek in the semifinals.

Another Belarusian, Kirill Maskevich (97 kg), will compete for bronze on September 20.
