Pirol coronavirus is not detected in Belarus
Cases of infection with a new Pirol strain of coronavirus on the territory of Belarus have not yet been recorded, the Ministry of Health reported.
In September 2023, 15 countries have already registered cases of infection with the Pyrol strain. It is believed that Pirola is more contagious compared to its predecessors.
However, there is no evidence yet that this variant causes a more severe course or a higher mortality rate. The symptoms differ little from the typical signs of a coronavirus infection. In general, experts believe that COVID-19 continues to be a threat. WHO called for supporting the fight against its spread, including booster vaccination.
