Postal and telecommunication services to rise in price in Belarus

Tariffs are being raised as part of the planned increase in regulated prices and tariffs in 2022, so that telecom operators will be provided with reimbursement of economically reasonable costs in the provision of such services, CityDog.io writes with reference to the Ministry of Antimonopoly.

• The monthly fee for a home landline phone will increase by BYN0.14.
• The fee for long-distance telephone connections will rise by BYN0,0008/min.
• The fee for local telephone connections will rise by BYN0,0003/min.
• Forwarding a postcard, letter, parcel weighing up to 20 g will cost more by BYN0.02.

The changes come into force on April 24.
