Production of agricultural products in Belarus fell by 4.2% in 2021

In 2021 the production of rural products in farms, agricultural organizations and households amounted to BYN25 billion. It is 95.8% of the the level of 2020 year at comparable prices, BELTA writes.

Minsk and Brest regions have the largest production volumes — 26.1% and 20.5%, respectively. The Grodno region produced 16.6% of the total volume, in the Gomel region — 13.2%, in the Vitebsk region — 11.9%. Mogilev region has the smallest volumes — 11.6%.

In total, 1786.7 thousand tons of livestock and poultry in live weight were produced in farms across the country. As well as 7819.7 thousand tons of milk and 3530.8 million eggs.
