Production of electric vehicles will be started in Belarus

Belarus plans to create a pilot production of electric vehicles, BELTA writes.

The new line should include a minivan with Joylong chassis, a sedan with Geely chassis, standard passenger electric vehicles, electric trucks with MAZ chassis. As well as a utility car with an electric drive, which can already be found on the streets of the city, and even sports cars

In the near future, The National Academy of Sciences, together with its partners, will develop an electric bus with an extended range. The plans also include the creation of an experimental base for solar and hydrogen energy, the establishment of pilot production of supercapacitors, the development of the production of new metal-composite materials, carbon fiber and fiberglass.
