Public baths of Minsk are visited by 16.7% of residents

For 11 months of 2021 public baths were visited by 330,039 people. With a population of 1,975 million people, this is 16.7% of the city. In 2020, there were 263,968 people during the same period, the Minsk-News agency writes.

Mostly public baths are visited by mature clients - 70% of them. And in the Bathhouse No. 1 on Bogdan Khmelnitsky Street 12 there are more young people — about 75%. This is due to the fact that this sauna is located next to the dormitory and the university.

Bathhouse No. 1 is one of the oldest in Minsk, it was built in 1954. It recently opened after reconstruction. On the website you can see the schedule and prices (in Russian). For 2 hours in a shared compartment with a swimming pool, the cost for 1 person is 18 BYN.
