Public transport cost has risen in Belarus

Since April 11, fares for trolleybuses and buses, as well as for suburban automobile transportation, have changed in the Brest, Gomel, Grodno and Minsk regions, pravo.by writes.

Here's how the cost of tickets for travel has changed:

• In buses and trolleybuses, the ticket price has increased by BYN0.10.
• The tariff for suburban automobile transportation increased by BYN0.01 per 1 kilometer.
• The cost of travel cards has also changed.

In the Gomel and Brest regions, travel is already paid for at the new tariffs. In the Minsk and Grodno regions, prices will change after agreement with Minsktrans.
