Public transport fares may rise in Belarus
The Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade in Belarus told the fares in public transport may rise in 2023, Sputnik reported.
However, forecasts say the fare should not rise in price. However, if the increase occurs, it will be insignificant and imperceptible for citizens.
In the new year, the state will also continue to limit the growth of prices and surcharges on goods.
Recall that by the end of 2022, it was possible to achieve a reduction in prices and slow down inflation. It is expected that by the end of 2022, inflation will amount to 12-13%. In 2023, the authorities hope to reduce inflation to 8%.
