Reconstruction of the “Pobeda” cinema

Construction work on the reconstruction of the “Pobeda” cinema is planned to begin in the third quarter of 2021, minsknews.by reports.

After the construction works, Pobeda will become a three-hall cinema. According to the project, all decorative elements will be preserved and restored, as well as architectural lighting will be added.

The head of "Minsk Spadchina" Alexander Kohan noted that the mandatory condition of the lease is the preservation of the function of the cinema.

Pobeda Cinema is the oldest cinema in the capital (1950). The building is an architectural monument of the mid-XX century and is included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of the Republic of Belarus.
