Red danger level announced in two regions of Belarus

A red danger level has been announced in the Minsk and Gomel regions due to highest fire danger. Throughout the rest of the country, a yellow level has been announced for the next three days, Sputnik reported.

From May 30 to June 1, an extreme fire danger is expected in most of the Gomel and Minsk regions. Fires in forests are possible.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations recommends:

  • do not visit forests;
  • do not build bonfires near forests and on private territories;
  • stay careful when handling flammable objects;
  • do not throw unlit cigarettes.

Let us remind you that it is forbidden to make bonfires in forests all over the country.
