Referendum in Belarus

On March 4, the President of Belarus signed The decision of the republican referendum, BELTA writes. The republican referendum on amendments and additions to the Constitution was held on February 27.

The question was put to the referendum: does the citizen agree with the amendments and additions to the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus? There were two possible answers: for and against.

The final results of the referendum were announced on March 3. The turnout was 78.63% of the total list of citizens who have the right to participate in the referendum. And 82.86% of citizens, or 65.16% of those included in the voting lists, voted for the adoption of amendments and additions to the Constitution.
