Refinancing rate decreases again in Belarus
From May 2, the refinancing rate will amount to 10%. This is the fourth reduction in the refinancing rate since the beginning of the year – on January 1, it was 12%, Sputnik reported. Moreover, pensions to increase in May.
As the National Bank's experts has noted, the slowdown in inflationary processes continues. As expected, in March, the annual increase in consumer prices decreased and amounted to 6%.
Analysts of the Eurasian Development Bank believe that the consistent easing of monetary policy is associated with a slowdown in inflationary processes in the country.
Experts believe that by the end of 2023, the refinancing rate may fall below 10%.
