Rosatom may supply equipment for cancer treatment to Belarus

The Russian state corporation "Rosatom" is ready to supply brachytherapy equipment to Belarus, as well as promptly supply doctors with radioactive sources to recharge this equipment, Sputnik reported.

Rosatom will participate in tenders that will be announced within the scheduled time for the replacement of equipment.

The representative of Rosatom also said that the prototype of modern devices was developed in the USSR. In addition, Belarusian and Russian scientists are ready to refine and improve this equipment.
