Rules for sale of used cars were changed

On July 18, the President of Belarus signed a decree that corrects the rules of selling used cars, BELTA writes. Recently, the rules for passing exams for a driver's D license have been changed.

Now contracts for the sale of vehicles must be drawn up only in writing. The agreement should contain information about the absence of restrictions and prohibitions on transactions with a vehicle at the time of its conclusion.

Contracts for the purchase and sale of vehicles concluded between individuals may also undergo state registration by notarization.

The decree comes into force in 6 months.
