Russia to increase quotas for Belarusian students in 2023

In 2023, 1300 students from Belarus will be able to study at leading universities in Russia at the expense of the country's budget, Sputnik reported. BSU students won prizes in the International Chemistry Olympiad.

In 2019, 73 students from Belarus received a quota from the Russian state to study at its universities. In 2022, 1,100 places were allocated for Belarusian students.

The majority of Belarusian students in Russia study applied mathematics. In second place in popularity is the Faculty of Medicine, and in third place is management.
