Russian Railways plans to increase the number of trains "Lastochka”

The Russian railway is negotiating to increase the number of trains "Lastochka", running on the route Moscow — Minskminsknews.by reports.

Russian Railways will not increase the number of Lastochka trains on the route between Moscow and Minsk, and plans to launch double trains. Negotiations are already underway to increase the number of “Lastochka” train cars from 5 to 10.

– As for the "Lastochka" that we launched before the May holidays – they go absolutely full. We are already negotiating to increase the trains to 10 cars –  said Dmitry Pegov, Deputy General Director of Russian Railways.

They will not change the schedule, because now the "Lastochka" run on the most convenient and popular schedule for passengers.
