S&P won't publish Belarus' data

The rating agency S&P (Standard & Poor's) currently does not have access to data on the execution of the state budget, as well as the schedule of repayment of public debt. For this reason, S&P will not publish data on the state of the Belarusian economy yet, Sputnik reported.

S&P suspends publication of the sovereign credit rating and others. The company promises to resume assessments when the data becomes available again, and will meet the agency's standards.

Earlier, in 2022, the agency downgraded the long-term foreign currency rating of Belarus from SS to SD. This means the so-called "selective default".
