Sabalenka Advances to Cincinnati Third Round

World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka defeated Czech player Markéta Vondroušová, according to Minsk-News.

She secured a 7–5, 6–1 victory to advance to the round of 16 at the WTA-1000 tournament in Cincinnati.

In the next match, the Belarusian will face Britain’s Emma Raducanu.

Sabalenka won this tournament in 2024, beating American Jessica Pegula in the final.
