Sasnovich and Siegemund in the semifinals of the Dubai tournament

Belarusian tennis player Alexandra Sasnovich and German Laura Siegemund have reached the semifinals of the prestigious WTA-1000 tournament in Dubai, Sputnik reports.

In doubles, they won in the quarterfinals, defeating their rivals with a score of 3:6, 6:2, 10:4. In the next round, they will play with Ellen Perez from Australia and Nicole Melicar-Martinez from the USA.

In singles, Arina Sobolenko and Victoria Azarenka completed their performance in the early stages of the tournament. The Dubai tournament will last until February 24, has a prize fund of $ 3.2 million and is important for athletes to earn points in the WTA rankings.
